POCSO Act awareness programme held
Informing students about their safety rights.
A POCSO Act Awareness Programme was held at A.S.P. Vidyapeeth on 23 November 2025 to inform students about their safety rights and the key provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The session was conducted by trained representatives from the district child welfare office in collaboration with the school management. Age-appropriate content was presented to students across different classes, using simple language and visual aids to ensure clarity.
Parents were also invited to attend a parallel session, where they were informed about warning signs, safe and unsafe touch, and how to report concerns. The school remains committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for every child.
